Why we started
The idea came from a line-by-line review of a real advisor-managed retirement account. It turned up overlapping funds, pricier share classes where cheaper ones may have been available, an advisory fee that didn't appear on the statement, and insurance costs that were hard to see. None of it was obvious from the statements alone.
Most working families will never get that review. Wealthy families can pay an expert to dig in. Everyone else gets a statement full of jargon. We're building a service that makes that review automatic, affordable and easy to understand.

Our name
Real Performance Report is about measuring what actually happened: your real results after every fee, compared with what a simple index portfolio would have done. It is not a promise of returns, and we are not an investment adviser.
